Description
Beautiful 55″ rope length strand of lustrous cultured saltwater pearls, lapis beads and mother-of pearl spacers.
Circa 1960s, 1970s.
Classic fish hook clasp allows the extra long rope length necklace to easily be worn doubled or tripled, and twisted into a torsade.
Creamy pearls average about 6mm wide.
Lapis beads average 3.5mm and the small MOP spacers are 2mm wide.
The necklace is 55″ long and weighs 46.4 grams.
The silver is not marked, but acid tested to be sterling silver.
This estate pre-owned necklace is in excellent overall condition.
Due to age, the string is slightly stretched and can be occasionally seen between the pearls.
The necklace is knotted about every 3.5″.
