Vintage Hopi Native American old pawn sterling silver belt buckle, featuring the classic “Man in the Maze” design. This design represents the cycle of life, with the outside representing the beginning of life, and the various turns in the maze as the different paths taken as life decisions are made.
The belt buckle is in an oval shape. The man and the maze are highlighted with oxidized walls for contrast.
Signed with the initials MT, for artisan Mark Tawahongva.
Weighs 35.8 grams. Belt buckle measures about 1 7/8” tall by 3 1/8” wide.
