Stunning vintage Navajo sterling silver and spiderweb turquoise squash blossom necklace. The turquoise stones of varying shades of light and bright blue are beautifully marbled with black matrix. The necklace measures about 27″. The naja is about 3-1/4″ tall and 3″ wide. The Navajo “pearls” are 8 mm wide, and they are strung on a sterling chain. The blossoms graduate from 9/16″ x 1-5/8″ to 3/4″ x 1-15/16″. The necklace looks like it might have been stamped with a mark on the back of one of the ends of the naja, but the mark is not clear (see photo). The necklace has been acid tested positive for sterling silver. The necklace is in excellent condition overall all, except for one of the petals that has broken off one of the small squash blossoms (see photo) . The necklace weighs 248.8 grams. A very, very beautiful vintage squash blossom necklace!
